Ethan Cohen Gallery is proud to present a series of early works from the renowned American artist Frank Hyder. The never-before-exhibited works come from Hyder’s ‘The 70’ series and depict intimate, domestic moments inspired by the artist’s roots. The series is rife with clever visual puns and stylistic allusions to Hyder’s early mentors, such as Alex Katz, Elaine de Kooning, and Fairfield Porter. While the pieces may seem unfamiliar to fans of Hyder’s more recent creations, they are a prime example of the artist’s enduring talent.

Public tour every Saturday at 2:00pm.
