The organizers of Art Palm Beach invited The Janis Project to join them this year January 18-22.
In October, 2016, The Janis Project was invited in its entirety to exhibit at the Art Students League of New York City. This was the first time that all of the inflatables were installed in the same room. A lecture was also given explaining the process and the meaning behind the project.

Chicago’s Loop Alliance has invited all the inflatables from The Janis Project to be part of this year’s Activate. Look for them at the Hyatt Centric and the Kimpton Gray Hotels and other sites on Monroe Street Thursday, September 15th.
In collaboration with the Philadelphia-based Brandywine Workshop & Archives, myself and five other artists will be creating works for a public art piece. My contribution consists of four panels measuring 36″ x 36″ each and made by carving into Sintra. These will be laser cut into aluminum and back lit with LEDs. A series of small prints will also be made at Brandywine.
The new publication Artist’s Home and Studios has just been released. A beautiful compilation produced by Ashley Rooney that provides a rare and delightful look into where artists live and make their work, including my own studio.
